A surgical logbook built around reflection and learning.
OrthoLog is a personal surgical logbook for doctors and surgical trainees. Record operative experience, revisit learning points and build a useful reflective portfolio. Enter cases manually or use optional AI to draft fields from selected images.
Cases are encrypted on your own device. If you choose to connect Google Drive, OrthoLog creates and updates a single encrypted logbook file in your Drive so the same logbook can be used on your phone and computer. It reads and writes only that one file, and Google cannot read its contents.

Use mock or non-identifying details by default. Where an organisation expressly authorises patient-related data after appropriate assessment, OrthoLog stores entered details inside the encrypted vault; safeguarding them remains the user’s duty. MRN/hospital number, NHS number and DOB are optional. If a reference is needed, use a non-identifying local reference wherever possible. Any expressly authorised real identifier must remain encrypted in the vault and must not be displayed or shared unnecessarily.

Prepare a structured case CSV, a de-identified learning portfolio and descriptive case statistics.
Encrypted vault and sync
Encrypt the local vault with a passphrase and optionally sync the encrypted file through Google Drive.
Optional identifiers
Leave identifiers blank or generate a clearly marked local reference. External systems may still require a genuine identifier.
